What is the Killer Whale promotion?

The Killer Whale promotion allows eligible players to upgrade their current rank to Killer Whale between January 15th and February 14th 2024.

How do I upgrade to Killer Whale?

Eligible players must log in to their GGPoker account, click on the Fish Buffet icon and finally click on the "Upgrade to Killer Whale" button.

I cannot see the "Upgrade to Killer Whale" button - why is this?

If you cannot see this button, you are not eligible for this promotion.

How do I earn Fish Points?

What happens if I upgrade to Killer Whale?

You will immediately become a Killer Whale and earn 50% weekly cashback.

Any Fish Points you have already earned will be converted to cash rewards and paid to you at the average cashback rate for the level you are switching from.

Cashback is available for collection after 00:00 UTC every Monday.

You then have 100 days to collect 400,000 Fish Points to become Platinum Whale for a minimum of 365 days.

I upgraded to Killer Whale but I will not earn the 400K Fish Points - what happens then?

You will be demoted to the next lowest Platinum rank - Platinum Octopus.

Any rewards earned but not previously collected at Killer Whale will be cashed into your account at the 50% rate.

I upgraded to Killer Whale and have already earned the 400K Fish Points - what happens now?

Congratulations, you will immediately become a Platinum Whale. You will have 365 days to maintain this rank or achieve the next level-up to Platinum Shark.

Any rewards earned but not previously collected at Killer Whale will be cashed into your account at the 50% rate.

I have opted in for Killer Whale but I no longer wish to participate. What are my options?

It is not possible to opt out of Killer Whale after opting in.

Players will remain at this status until their promotional period ends (100 days).

If at that point they have not earned the 400K points to remain Platinum Whale they will be demoted to Platinum Octopus.
