Hotkeys - FAQ & Summary

What are Hotkeys?
Hotkeys are shortcuts that can be programmed to perform a table action (e.g. folding) or a function (e.g. changing a stack display from chips to BBs) on an active table.

Why do Hotkeys exist?
Players that play a large number of tables can use Hotkeys as shortcuts to save time.

What table actions can be set as a Hotkey?

Fold / Fold to any bet - This will fold your hand when it is your turn to act.
Check / Call - If no one to act before you has bet/raised and you have the option to check, you can use this to check. If there is action before you, you can use this to call.
Bet / Raise - Using this will bet/raise the minimum amount on the table. For example, if there is no action before you, using this hotkey will make a bet of 1 big blind. If there is a bet/raise before your turn to act, using this will make the minimum raise
Select Bet Amount (Button 1/2/3/4) - Selects any of your 4 custom bet buttons for use when betting/raising, which can be combined with the Bet/Raise Hotkey.
New Hand (Rush & Cash) - Moves you to the next hand in Rush & Cash formats.
Select Bet Amount & Bet (Button 1/2/3/4) - Selects one of your 4 custom buttons for betting/raising and will execute this action. Similar to Select Bet Amount hotkey but combines both in a single action.
Bet/Raise All In - Puts you 'All in' in games where you can do this. For example, this may not be available in Pot Limit or Limit games.

Can I create custom hotkeys that are not offered on the client?
At this time, the only Hotkeys that can be set are the ones listed. If you have a suggestion for a new hotkey to be added to the list, please visit our suggestion box page in our global Reddit community at https://www.reddit.com/r/GGPoker

How do I know which table is active to avoid misclicks?
There is a thick green border around the edge of the active table. This will be the one your mouse pointer is currently hovering over. Any use of hotkeys will be on this table.

Can I remove the green border around the table my mouse is hovering over
There is no way to remove this border whilst hotkeys are active. It is an intentional feature to assist players in avoiding misclicks and taking action on the wrong tables. If the green border is not aesthetically pleasing or you find it distracting, you can remove it by disabling the hotkeys feature in the settings.

Can I use any keyboard keys as my hotkeys?
If the settings allow you to set a specific key as a hotkey, you can use it. Feel free to customise your layout to whatever is best for you.

Can I use mouse buttons as hotkeys?
At this time, only keyboard keys can be set as native hotkeys. There are no plans to extend this to allowing mouse buttons to be used as native hotkeys, as mouse buttons have other functions within the game client.

Are you going to introduce mouse buttons as hotkeys?
There are no plans to allow mouse buttons as native hotkeys. Mouse buttons have other functions within the client.

Can I use third-party software to keybind a mouse button to a keyboard key, for the purpose of it being used as a hotkey?
There is nothing in our house rules that prevents you doing this, however by doing this you acknowledge that you use this solution at your own risk and that it is not native to the GGPoker client.
The software can only be used to execute an existing hotkey function, the creation and use of custom hotkeys is prohibited and may result in sanctions being taken against you

Are Hotkeys available on all games?
Yes, any active tables can have hotkeys applied, although please be aware some hotkeys are not compatible with certain game types so pressing them may have an unexpected result
