What is the Platinum Fish Buffet?
The Platinum Fish Buffet is an extension of the Fish Buffet - instead of issuing rewards via a wheel spin - Platinum players receive a consistent level of reward each week.
How does the reward system work on the Platinum Fish Buffet?
You will get the stated percentage of your Fish Points converted into cash rewards each Monday based on the Fish Points having a nominal value of $0.01, for example, if your rank is Platinum Fish and you have 1000 Fish Points, you will get 20% of these converted to cash rewards, 200 Fish Points x $0.01 = $2.00 in cash
What time zone is my Platinum Fish Buffet displayed in?
Fish Buffet times are displayed in your local time.
Can I view my Platinum Fish Buffet History anywhere?
Yes, you can do so in the client/app.

What are the Platinum Ranks?
There are 5 different Platinum Rank levels

Can I climb Platinum Ranks?
Yes and No.
Yes - players on Platinum Whale or higher can climb to the next level.
No - players Platinum Octopus or lower cannot climb to the next level.
I am currently Platinum Fish - I want to become Platinum Octopus - how can I do this?
It is not possible to climb directly.
In this situation, you must leave Platinum, return to the Fish Buffet and start from Bronze Shrimp, complete all levels up to Bronze Whale 3. At Bronze Whale 3, you can then switch to Platinum Octopus.
I am currently Platinum Octopus - I want to become Platinum Whale - how can I do this?
It is not possible to climb directly.
In this situation, you must leave Platinum, return to the Fish Buffet and start from Bronze Whale 3, complete all levels up to and including Gold Whale 1. After completing Gold Whale 1, you will automatically become Platinum Whale.
How can I become a Platinum Fish?
Players can become Platinum Fish from a minimum of Bronze Shrimp. It is not possible to become Platinum Fish from Plankton or Goldfish.
How long does Platinum Fish status last for?
Platinum Fish is permanent - there is no time limit or point accrual required to keep this status.
How much cashback do I receive at Platinum Fish?
Platinum Fish rewards 20% cashback ($1 for every 500 FPs earned)
How can I become a Platinum Octopus?
Players can join Platinum Octopus from any Whale level on the Fish Buffet.
How long does Platinum Octopus last?
Players will have 365 days to earn 750,000 FPs to maintain their Platinum Octopus level.
How much cashback do I receive at Platinum Octopus?
Platinum Octopus rewards 35% cashback ($1 for every 285 FPs earned)
What happens when I reach the 750,000 FPs at Platinum Octopus?
Congratulations, you have maintained your Platinum Octopus status for another year.
How can I become Platinum Whale?
Players can only become Platinum Whale by completing the final Fish Buffet level - Gold Whale 1.
How long does Platinum Whale last?
Players will have 365 days to generate 1,500,000 (1.5 million) Fish Points in order to maintain their Platinum Whale status.

Platinum Whale rewards 50% cashback ($1 for every 200 FPs earned)
Can I climb from Platinum Whale to Platinum Shark?
Yes, you can! You must first maintain the status by earning 1.5 million Fish Points. Then you require a further 3 million Fish Points to get a promotion to Platinum Shark.
What happens if I don't earn the 1,500,000 FPs to retain Platinum Whale?
Any points accrued and not previously collected, will be exchanged at the Platinum Whale rate before you are demoted to Platinum Octopus.
I've earned the 1,500,000 FPs to retain Platinum Whale - what happens next?
You can use the remaining time to aim for Platinum Shark, another 3 million Fish Points are required.
How can I become Platinum Shark?
Players can only become Platinum Shark by completing Platinum Whale.
How long does Platinum Shark last?
Players will have 365 days to generate 3,000,000 (3 million) Fish Points in order to maintain their Platinum Shark status.

What happens if I don't earn the 3,000,000 FPs to retain Platinum Shark?

How can I become GGPlatinum?
Players can only become GGPlatinum by completing Platinum Shark.
How long does GGPlatinum last?
Players will have 365 days to earn 5,000,000 (5 million) Fish Points in order to maintain their GGPlatinum status.

GGPlatinum rewards 60% cashback ($1 for every 167 FPs earned
What happens if I don't earn the 5,000,000 FPs to retain GGPlatinum?
Any points accrued and not previously collected, will be exchanged at the GGPlatinum rate before you are demoted to Platinum Shark.
Can I save my Platinum Rewards or must they be collected?
Rewards can be saved - they do not have to be collected each week.
What happens to my saved Platinum Rewards if I get promoted or demoted?
Any uncollected rewards will be paid out at the time of promotion/demotion.
When are the Platinum Rewards paid?
Platinum Rank reward payments are paid every Monday as long as the player is a Platinum rank before 23:00 UTC on Sunday. Rewards must be collected in the Platinum rank window. Rewards can be accumulated and do not have to be collected each week.
I accidentally switched from Platinum Fish Buffet to Fish Buffet
Please note on the dedicated webpage: https://en.ggpoker.com/promotions/fish-buffet/ that a penalty period is invoked when you leave Platinum Rank to go back to Fish Buffet.
It states: You will NOT be able to switch back to Platinum Rank for a period of time equivalent to the time limit of the new Bronze rank (e.g. If you switch from Platinum Fish to Bronze Shrimp, you will not be able to return to Platinum Fish for 15 days)
Note: A player switching to Whale or Octopus must wait a minimum of 30 days before being eligible to switch back to Platinum Ranks.
Note 2: For days when there is scheduled downtime of the service an extra 24 hours is added to both Fish Buffet levels and Platinum Rank levels to allow players a fair time to complete them.
Note 3: A switch from Platinum Rank to Fish buffet requires multiple confirmations and cannot be overturned by Customer service under any circumstances.
Can I switch from Platinum Rank to Fish Buffet?
Yes, you can always switch back to the regular Fish Buffet to try for a higher level. Any remaining Fish Points will be exchanged at the Platinum Rank level upon making the move. It may take up to 5 minutes before these rewards are placed in your account balance.
Example: A Platinum Fish will start at Bronze Shrimp. The player had 10,000 FPs at the time of the switch. The FPs will be exchanged to $20 in cash and the player will start at Bronze Shrimp at 0 FPs.
Note: You will NOT be able to switch back to Platinum Rank for a period of time equivalent to the time limit of the new Bronze rank. (e.g. If you switch from Platinum Fish to Bronze Shrimp, you will not be able to return to Platinum Fish for 15 days.)
Note 2: For days when there is scheduled downtime of the service an extra 24 hours is added to both Fish Buffet levels and Platinum Rank levels to allow players a fair time to complete them.

From the Platinum tab select the My Fish Buffet tab
