Smart HUD - Why does GGPoker have its own HUD and not just allow commercially available HUDs?

We believe in a fair playing field for all players. Why should some players get an advantage because they can afford to buy a program while others cannot?

The Smart HUD is free and identical for all players, so all have access to the same information.
