What is Helmet Mode?
Helmet Mode is an option that can be activated at the table to block all distractions and allow you to focus on your game.
When can I use this feature?
You can use this feature at any cash game or tournament table you are seated at. Observers cannot use the Helmet Mode feature.
Can I use Helmet Mode as an observer at a table?
No, only players seated in the game can use this feature.
What does Helmet Mode block?
It blocks table chat, emojis, snapcam, splash features and special hand moments.
Will other players know if I am using Helmet Mode?
A 'Mute' helmet will appear around your avatar to indicate you are muted.
Can I turn certain things off with Helmet Mode for example, block emojis but still have table chat?
No, Helmet Mode cannot be customised.
If I am using Helmet Mode, can I use chat or emojis
No, the block goes both ways, it blocks these features from being shown and used.
How do I switch Helmet Mode on? (PC)
Click the chat bubble icon to the left of your username
When the chatbox appears, click the 3 dots icon at the bottom of the chatbox
Select 'On' for Helmet Mode
Choose to activate on this table only or all your tables.
How do I switch Helmet Mode on? (Mobile)
Click the speech bubble icon with the two cards at the top left of the screen
Click the chat bubble icon
When the chatbox appears, click the 3 dots icon at the bottom of the chatbox
Select 'On' for Helmet Mode
Choose to activate on this table only or all your tables
How do I switch Helmet Mode off (PC)
Click the Helmet icon next to your username
Choose to remove for this table only or all your tables.
How do I switch Helmet Mode off (Mobile)
Click the speech bubble icon with the two cards at the top left of the screen.
At the bottom of the chatbox it will say, 'Helmet Mode activated for X tables' click on this.

Is there an option to have Helmet Mode permanently on?
No, you must activate it at the start of each session/table that you want to use it.
If I am already seated with Helmet Mode on, will any new tables have it applied automatically?
No, you will need to switch on Helmet Mode for each new table that you open
I want to have my helmet mode set to 'on' all the time. Why is there no option to do this?
At GGPoker our ethos has always been about putting the fun back into poker, but we do understand there are times when you want a little peace, so we have Helmet Mode, which removes some (not all) of the fun stuff and allows you that peaceful time.
There are no plans to add an 'always on' mode. Players who wish to use it can turn it on at the start of each session/table or whenever they choose or enjoy the game and all the fun elements that GGPoker is famous for!
